My Story

I became an independent celebrant because I believe that through our lives, there are key life-changing moments; these moments in our lives are what make it pretty wonderful. It's beautiful when we commit to love. I value & honor these moments & your love by crafting truly magical ceremonies. It's cliché, but I love life, and I love LOVE. 

I have been happily married for over 30 years and have two gorgeous grown children. Like any family, we've navigated life's ups and downs together and shared experiences which have honed my compassion, understanding of real love and commitment and what that truly means.

I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrants. This has recently evolved and become part of the Celebrant Guild, which I am also involved in, as well as being a member of the Celebrant Directory. 

Outside of SCV Ceremonies i work at a heritage site where i have been for over 15 year . My role is extremely varied. My job as your celebrant is to tell your story and to share it with all the people you love the most.  I believe that all through our lives there will be moments when we make life-changing decisions, these choices make us human. They are often linked with love . We also, if possible, like to spend time at a family home in France. This means I am available to conduct celebrant weddings in France, specifically in the Alpes Maritimes, Var region or on the coast near Cannes or Nice, depending on the time of year. 

I enjoy working with couples and families who want a one-of-a-kind ceremony.
